ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Red Cross Day which is celebrated on the birthday of Henry Dunant, in 1928, the founder of the International Red Cross movement and the recipient of the first Nobel Peace Prize.
The Red Cross has approximately 97 million volunteers, members and staff worldwide and was founded to protect human life and health, to ensure respect for all human beings and alleviate human suffering.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.
Edward Everett Hale
It seems like any time we hear about disasters happening we also hear about the Red Cross helping out. They do a lot of good for a lot of people around the world.
This week seems to be all about people helping others from nurses, to teachers, and now the Red Cross. We owe them all our thanks and appreciation.
The thing to remember is that we can all make a difference every day in some way. I’m not a teacher or a nurse, but that doesn’t mean that I cannot make a difference in someone’s life. It’s not all about doing great things but doing everything with tenderness and love.
It’s mid week already and I’ve started a couple of new projects which I hope to finish up by the end of the week. There is always something to do, and my days are never boring.
I’m hoping by next weekend I’ll be able to get some flowers planted outside, but will see how the weather shapes up. We’ve had some cold nights yet, and I want to make sure it’s warm enough.
On the bright side, spring has come and warmer days are ahead. Todays pictures are of my flowers out on the car port last year.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.
Babara De Angelis
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7045. for the Red Cross and all they do for others
7046. for warmer days, Spring has come
7047. for flowers, they do make a difference
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
.
ADVICE FOR TODAY
If you don’t think a small act can make a difference, try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.
Julie Foudy
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Everyone can make a difference!
God bless all the helpers of the world! God bless you!
Love the flowers with the flag...
That will be nice to plant flowers! Liked your pictures from last year! It is a good organization with the Red Cross and then similar ones. We all need to try to help out as we can.

That quote by Mr. Hale is wonderful! Yes, I like how the Red Cross has set the bar for all of us.
