ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Be a Millionaire Day which is the perfect opportunity to dream big and imagine what it would be like as a millionaire. While a million dollars isn’t what it used to be, seeing a being seventeen figure number in your bank account is still consider a financial milestone.
The first multi millionaire in the U.S. was John Jacob Astor who made his fortune in trade and later established the first trust in Americqn history.
There are many ways to celebrate today . Invest money in a savings account or purchase a lottery ticket to try your luck.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A penny saved is a penny earned.
Benjamin Franklin
I’ve never aspired to being a millionaire, but have always been thankful to have what I’ve needed. Money isn’t everything. I consider myself wealthy in the things that don’t cost a cent.
It’s true that we need money to live We need to work for what we have. And if we want to win the lottery, we have to buy a ticket. It all depends what our priorities are.
There are a lot of Million Dollar recipes out there. I have one for Million Dollar Spaghetti and one for Million Dollar Dip, but the recipe for today is going to be for a dessert.
Million Dollar Dessert
1 c. flour
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. powdered sugar
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 large carton Cool Whip, divided
2 small pkgs. instant chocolate pudding
3 c. milk

Second layer: Combine sugar and cream cheese. Mix Well. Add 1/2 Cool Whip . Spread over baked crust.
Third Layer: Prepare pudding with milk in usual manner. Spread over top of sugar and cream cheese and Cool Whip layer.
Fourth layer: Use remain 1/2 cartoon Cool Whip. Spread over to chocolate pudding layer and sprinkle with remaining nuts. Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
I would say it’ll taste like a million dollars!

COUNTING MY GIFTS
Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining - it bores everybody else, does you no good, and doesn’t solve any problems.
Zig Ziglar
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7081. for having what I need
7082. for desserts, a little sugar is good
7083. for a new week, a fresh start
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!

ADVICE FOR TODAY
It’s good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it’s good too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy.
George Lorimer
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

The best things in life are free.
I like that million dollar dessert recipe! I'm glad I'm not a millionaire and have what I need and some extras. I don't think I would want all the potential headaches that could come if I had a lot of money. I do agree the best things in life are free!

Reading this recipe, my mouth literally began watering!
I'm not a gambler per se, but my poor mom once said she prayed I wouldn't win the lottery. She thought it might 'ruin' me. Like Betty, I think the potential pitfalls outweigh the benefits.
