ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Enough Jelly Beans were eaten last year to circle the earth more than five times.
To celebrate today, treat yourself to a delicious handful of jelly beans. Jump for joy when you stumble upon your favorite flavor !

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
One thing is certain, and I have always known it — the joys of my life have nothing to do with age.
May Sarton
There are always jelly beans on hand in my house. I keep them in this jar year round. It doesn’t have to be Easter to enjoy jelly beans. This holiday is associated with joy and happiness and I always try to remember that though every day may not be a good one, there is something good about every day.
Today’s recipe is for Jelly Bean Bark which quick and easy to make. The fun thing is that you can pick your colors of jelly beans and sprinkles to suit each holiday of the year.
Jelly Bean Bark
1 16 oz package of white or vanilla candy coating or almond bark
1 or 2 tablespoons sprinkles, your choice of color
Approximately 30 jellybeans, your choice of color
Start by melting your candy coating according to directions on package. Once melted, place on a baking sheet that has been line with parchment paper. Immediately place jelly beans and sprinkles into coating, giving them a gentle push to embed them. Chill for a least 2 hours, then break apart by hand or with a knife. Store in a cool dry place.
Today is the very last day of July and it’s been a pretty peace filled and joyful month here at my house. I’m showing the last of the family celebration pictures along with my jelly bean jar today. I have to say we’re ending the month on a very positive and happy note.
Jump for Joy !
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

I am so behind on reading blogs and trying to catch up. Hope you are well.
I'm sharing this 'bark' recipe with a family member who still has little ones who'd delight in the novelty! Some like this - put out in a dish like yours - would sure add a 'pop' of color to anyone's room.
Oh jelly beans. I love Jelly beans. I am like Ronald Regan with that! haha. I wish I had some grandchildren to come over and help me eat mine. What a blessing. I have loved seeing all of your family members and the fun you have had together. That pool looks lovely and refreshing! I have not been in a pool for years! How wonderful! God bless, love and hugs! xoxo
