ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Lollipop Day which celebrates the traditional hard candy on a stick that comes in a variety of shapes, sizes and flavors. Some lollipops contain fillings, such as bubble gum or soft candy. Tootsie roll pops are a good example.
Everyone’s a sucker for National Lollipop Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Life is sweet, Life is all so very short. Life is sweet.
Natalie Merchant
I have a sweet tooth and add a little sweetness to my life every day. While I may not have any lollipops here at my house, I do have a lot of sweet treats.
It’s looking like a sweet Friday here at my house. Most of the week’s work is done and with the exception of a few minor twists and turns it’s been a wonderful week. I really can’t find a picture of a lollipop here in my photo album but I did find a lot of sweetness to share in today’s pictures. It's called eye candy.
We may have a slight chance of showers today and the weekend is looking much the same, but no matter to me, I always carry my own sunshine right along with me. Let a smile be your umbrella on a rainy day !
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday! Celebrate the sweetness.

6178. for a great week
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down...
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Life is sweet in the slow lane!
You had great pictures of eye candy here :) I haven't had a lollipop in ages but was just talking about them the other day. Grandson will be flying at the end of summer and we're trying to figure out what might help his ears and the pressure. Can't chew gum since he's so young but figured sucking on a lollipop might help. Have to see if they have given him a lollipop yet :)

I have not had a lollipop in ages. I can remember getting suckers when we went to the Dentist. Unheard of now for a Dentist to give children such a sugar treat! Over here we get boiled sweets which are like lollipots without the sticks. I like to suck on one. You can get sugar free ones and they are nice! xoxo
PS- I meant to say what a cute pic of your wee cutie pies and those donuts look fabulous!
