Today is Pandemonium Day which is a day of sheer bedlam and utter chaos.  Everyone has a day like this once in awhile.  It’s a day when unexpected things occur.  It’s a time when everything is happening at the same time and at a very fast pace.  

This day  encourages people to take a different look at the upheavals and changes in their lives and and find ways to take pause and bring equilibrium in their lives. Don’t let today, or any other day shake you up. 

 If Pandemonium prevails, just go with the flow in a calm and cool manner.  Accept that chaos is a part of life.  But remember:  Nothing stays the same forever and this too shall pass.

I’d love to have someone to sit and talk with and walk on the beach with at 80.

While I'm not 80, I am in my 70's.  Life can get sort of crazy sometimes, but I’ve learned to be very flexible and go with the flow. I’ve made a lot of plans that never happened due to one thing or another, but still life does go on.

Going with the flow is like rolling with the punches.  It’s accepting change without getting angry or frustrated.  It’s making the best of what we’re given.  It’s great to make plans and set goals.  We all need that in our lives, but when chaos happens it’s best to be flexible and go with the flow.

On Thursday of this week I was given an almost perfect day to go to lunch with two of my good friends.  We went to lunch at a cafe located on the shores of Lake Erie.  We got to sit out side on the deck there and eat lunch looking out at the beach.  The weather couldn’t have more perfect.  Low 80’s and no humidity.  There was a nice breeze blowing that almost made us feel chilly sitting in the shade.  Afterward we found a great place to sit awhile and chat in the sun and it felt wonderful.  It’s not often we get days like this where you can sit in the sun for an hour or so and enjoy it without feeling hot.  That is what my pictures are of today.

Today is to be quite different with higher temps and a lot of humidity.  I’ll be doing my best to keep cool and make the best of what I’m given.
