ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Forgiveness Day which is a time to forgive and to be forgiven. The world will be a better place for this day.Troubles and disputes should be ended on Forgiveness Day and people should get along with each other again. Forgiving is a relieving process and not only on Forgiveness Day everyone should do that from time to time.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look which becomes a habit.
Peter Ustinov
The longer I live, the more it makes sense to forgive and forget. Life is too short to be anything but happy. It’s too short to be angry or hold grudges. True forgiveness is a powerful thing. It can restore relationships and reunite families. It can ease sadness in the forgiven and eliminate bitterness in the one who does the forgiving.
The truth is that however good or bad a situation is now, it will change. That’s the one thing you can count on. So when life is good, enjoy it. Happiness never comes to those who don’t appreciate what they have while they have it.
We had a beautiful day yesterday. Sunny and breezy with temps in the low 70’s and today is looking to be about the same. They say there could be a chance of rain later on but meanwhile I’m going to be enjoying what we have. It’ll will warm up into the lower 80’s later this week, but still that is not bad at all either.
I don’t really have any pictures of anything new, but sharing more pictures of my house today. I have to take pictures now so I’ll remember how nice it was when winter comes our way.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
WHAT’S NEW IN THE KITCHEN
There is a food holiday to celebrate every day of the year!
It’s Chocolate Pudding Day!
To honor this holiday I’ve found a recipe to share.
Quick Creamy Chocolate Pudding
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Whipped topping, optional
Stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan; gradually stir in milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla. Pour into individual dessert dishes. To ovoid a skin from forming on top, press plastic wrap directly onto surface.
You can serve warm or refrigerate at least 2 hours. Garnish with whipped topping if desired. Serves 4

Betty Smith

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I told Harley it was 'Forgiveness Day' and her response was "I forgive you"! Smart alek kiddo! Stay cool!
Neat! Just this weekend, we were talking about mending bridges with DH's daughter. In the end, does it really matter who was right or wrong?
One of my favorite memories of visiting my grandparent's farm in Minnesota was her letting me make chocolate pudding on the stove-top, all by myself!
