30 DAYS UNTIL WINTER
Sunrise: 7:23 am
Sunset: 5:04 pm
Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Universal Children's Day In 1954, the UN General Assembly recommended that all countries should establish a Universal Children's Day on an appropriate day. The resolution was adopted on November 20, 1954 to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide.
You’ve heard so many people say it: children are the future. And whether you yourself have children or not, that still rings true. Today’s children are tomorrow’s scientists, politicians, doctors and teachers.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I believe that children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside.
Whitney Houston
Our children are the future. What we give to them today is our tomorrow. Knowing just how fast time flies by and watching my own children become parents makes me more and more aware of what a great influence we have on them.
They watch everything we do and imitate what they see much more than they listen to what we might say. The proof is in the doing.
We had our first Ohio Snow for the season yesterday. I am so not ready for that but we really don’t get much of a choice. Todays pictures are of a little pre Thanksgiving celebrating with DS#2 and #4 and their families.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
WHAT’S NEW IN THE KITCHEN
There is a food holiday to celebrate every day of the year!
It's National Peanut Butter Fudge Day

COUNTING MY GIFTS
While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.
Angela Schwindt
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
4426. for children, especially those in my family
4427. for the beauty to be found in every day
4428. for Peanut butter, good in so many different things, especially fudge
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million.
Walt Streightiff
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Looked like a fun celebration! Love the picture of you with your two grandsons in the truck. So true how children grow up so quick. Need to enjoy every minute with them, time goes way too fast!

How cute you look in that ball-cap in that first photo! Neat restaurant atmosphere with that brick wall and everyone's big smiles!
I hope you'll not be experiencing a severe winter. Still, I'll never forget sitting in elementary school this time of year ... trying to pay attention but more concerned about spotting the first few snowflakes. THAT was truly cause for celebration, and I guess I've never outgrown the feeling. Fat chance, I'll see it anytime in Phoenix. HA.
