32 DAYS UNTIL SPRING
Sunrise: 7:24 am
Sunset: 6:03 pm
Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Do A Grouch a Favor Day. Do a Grouch a Favor today. Do it and make the world a better place.
Everyone has been a grouch at one time or another. Some people are seemingly grouches all of the time. It's in their nature. Others are occasional grouches, influenced by events in their lives, lack of sleep, the weather, etc. A few people are good at disguising their grouchy mood. But, they still need cheering up.
Whether you buy them a gift, big or small, lend an ear to their problems, or just give them a sincere compliment, anything can be helpful in making a grouch less grouchy. Even if your attempts fail, at least they’ll put a smile on your face.
If everyone does a favor for just one grouch, maybe grouches will become an endangered species.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Don’t let toxic people rent space in your head.
Raise the rent and get them out of there.
Grouchy people are usually grouchy for a reason, but I have known a few grouches that just liked to complain. They rarely had anything good to say about anyone. They just got into the habit of complaining and didn’t even realize that was what they were doing.
Cranky people can drag everyone else down by spreading negativity. Crankiness can certainly stand in the way of happiness, but you don’t have to let it rule your life. A healthy relationship is reciprocal; it should be give and take, but not in the sense that you’re always giving and they’re always taking.
Constant drama and negativity is never worth putting up with. If you’ve tried reasoning with them and they aren’t budging, don’t hesitate to vacate their space and ignore them until they do.
Remember that you can’t help someone by making unwarranted pardons for cranky things they do simply because they have problems. There are plenty of people who are going through extreme hardships who are not grouches to everyone around them.
Disagreements and misunderstandings will happen in life, but this is not an excuse to disrespect others. Love and respect for others should always be our guide. We are accountable to God for our own actions. We cannot control what other people do, but we can control how we respond.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The Lord loveth a cheerful giver. He also accepteth from a grouch.
Catherine Hall
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3595. for smiles that turn frowns upside down
3596. for the grouches in my life that have taught me a lot about patiences and compassion
3597. for lots to be thankful for, you cannot feel grateful and grumpy at the same time.
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY

That is so true that some people just are cranky or grouchy for no reason and I think it builds up so much over the years, they have forgotten what it is like to be nicer and kinder. Hard indeed to be around people like that; they tend to pull you down more than build you up. Always good though to smile and have the best attitude one can have!
