For Sunday, November 22nd, 2009
a pictorial journal
ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
NOBEMBER 22nd, 2009
It's SUNDAY…
Here is DD with her hubby and our Princess who is DS#1’s oldest child.
We were blessed with lots of SMILES yesterday and this picture is only a few of them for sure.
I heard from DS#3 yesterday too. He called to share the news of the birth of their son. Now my grand’babes’ number 12. I’m thinking at this point the boys outnumber the girls.
DS#2 also called with some happy news adding more SMILES to our day. He was back from his trip for work and was enjoying a long weekend.
THINKING
November is the month when we remember all the things we are thankful for and the One that makes them possible
The Burden-Bearer
Praise be to the LORD, to God my Savior, who daily bears my burdens. . .
Psalm 68:19
NEW IN THE KITCHEN
Our Turkey this year turned out very well. The platter it sits on is a true antique as I bought for the first Thanksgiving we had when I got married.
No recipes today…
ATTIRE FOR TODAY
We’ll probably need a jacket to start the day off as it did get down in the 30’s here last night but they are saying we’ll get up to 55 degrees again.
PRAYERS
Dear God, remind us to share what you give us with those in need and then to be still, waiting for your will to be done
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
AROUND HOME
This was a little turkey made with Oreo cookies . This one made by our Prince Charming also had jelly beans on it
