TODAY'S THOUGHT
Practice makes better
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will give thanks for all those who teach, guide and support students on new paths. I will pray that God's wisdom and understanding are active within them
TODAY’S QUOTE
Teachers who inspire realize there will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how we use them

IT’S TUESDAY !!
We have really been having some beautiful weather the last few days. More and more color is beginning to show in the trees. The sky has been blue and sunny. This is the part of fall that I like best. We don’t have any leaves to rake yet and it’s not cold and raining. Those days will come to be sure, but for now we just count our blessings and enjoy.
We had thought our humming birds had left us, but Sunday evening we did see one busy little one flitting from one place to another and sipping at the feeder. They’ll be gone before long and we’ll miss them for sure.
It is dark going to work in the early morning and that is one thing I dread. As I was driving along yesterday morning my headlights spotlighted a little black and white creature at the edge of the road. Thankfully he stopped and I didn’t run him over. That would have caused quite a stink as he was a skunk. Oh my, was I thankful he stopped.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord God, strengthen our faith as we exercise it.
Teach us persistence in loving others
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

REAL TEACHERS
Real teachers grade papers in the car, during commercials, in faculty lounges and have been seen grading in church.
Real teachers cheer when they hear April 1 does not fall on a school day.
Real teachers clutch a pencil while thinking and make notes in the margins of books.
Real teachers can't walk past a crowd of kids without straightening up the line.
Real teachers have disjointed necks from writing on boards without turning their backs on the class.
Real teachers are written up in medical journals for size and elasticity of kidneys and bladders.
Real teachers have been timed gulping down a full lunch in 2 minutes, 18 seconds. Master teachers can eat faster than that.
Real teachers can predict exactly which parents will show up at Open House.
Real teachers know the shortest distance and the length of travel time from their classroom to the office.
Real teachers can sense gum.
Real teachers know the difference among what must be graded, what ought to be graded, and what probably should never again see the light of day.
Real teachers have their best conferences in the parking lot.
Real teachers know secretaries and custodians run the school.
Real teachers hear the heartbeats of crisis; always have time to listen; know they teach students, not subjects; and they are absolutely non-expendable.
TODAY’S REFLECTION
You shall teach them diligently to your children . . . when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way
Deuteronomy 6:7
In Deuteronomy, Moses instructed the Israelites to take to heart God’s truths and share them with the next generation as a way of life. Biblical parenting is not a guarantee of having godly offspring. But when we see spiritual interest in the next generation, we can cultivate vital conversations about God’s Word. This can be one of a parent’s, or grandparent’s, greatest legacies
The richest legacy a parent can leave a child is a godly example
TODAY’S ADVICE

7 DAYS TIL FALL!

Psalm 37:4
May there be a miracle in YOUR life today
and may you have the EYES to SEE it!
I Love You All !!!
Be Blessed !!!
