TODAY'S THOUGHT
Sometimes it's better to put love into hugs than to put it into words

JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will reach in to unite with the presence of God, I pray to be shown how to love more, how to give more, how to be more
TODAY’S QUOTE
Happiness consists more in small conveniences or pleasures that occur every day than in great pieces of good fortune that happen but seldom
Benjamin Franklin
IT’S MONDAY !!
I hope your weekend was a great one. The weather here was beautiful. It’s supposed to continue that way most of this week. They said a slight chance of rain toward the end of the week but it’s too soon to tell on that one for sure.
I did enjoy a day and a half so to speak at the camper and the car seemed to be running a smooth as a kitten. Well I guess she’d better after what it cost to get it all done not even counting having to stay home on a vacation day.
The week ahead will be a long full 5 day-er as far as work goes. Tuesday should be our dulcimer get together. We won’t have many left after this one as we break in December and don’t get together during the cold snowy and icy days of winter. We start playing our Christmas music next month since we get such few times to play it and I do love it so.
This week we’ll be celebrating 2 birthdays both of which are far away so it’ll be a long distance celebration. DDIL#4 us the 16th and their youngest son is the 17th. I’ll be sending good wishes to both of them in the mail.
That is about all the news from home as I know it…
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Creator God, help us to speak as you want us to, so all our conversations may be holy ones
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
Colossians 3:16
By dwelling on God’s word throughout the day, we can keep our contact with the Lord and begin to take on his mind. By taking the time to sit quietly with the Bible, we give the Spirit the chance to write his words on our hearts.
