TODAY'S THOUGHT
Look for the blessing in everything
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will not judge or compare myself to others, I will enjoy the unique beauty in all of us. I am a divine expression of God and so is everyone else.
TODAY’S QUOTE
Learn to get in touch with silence within yourself, and know that everything in this life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from

IT’S THURSDAY !!
And Happy Anniversary to DS#1 and his wife!
Their anniversary is tomorrow while I’m away so I’m putting my good wishes in here today.
May the Dear Lord bless you both always!
Tomorrow is another anniversary and that is the 2001 tragic terrorist attack of Manhattan's World Trade Center. It came as a shock, outrage, and full of hurt. The loss was too painful to comprehend. As with all horrible tragedies, there was also a message of unity, as well as a common bond of healing, bravery, and hope.
Americans are now prouder, more committed to stand together; united from Maine to Hawaii, from Alaska to Florida, determined not to let any country, religion, or people steal our freedoms.
Since I’ll be away tomorrow and won’t have another newsletter til Monday, I thought I’d do a little tribute in memory of 9/11 today.
In the United States, Patriot Day occurs on September 11 of each year, designated in memory of the nearly three thousandwho died in the September 11, 2001, attacks. Most Americans refer to the day as "Nine-Eleven (9/11)," "September 11th," or some variation thereof
On the direction of the President, the flag of the United States of America should be displayed on the homes of Americans, the White House and all United States government buildings in the whole world. The flag should be flown at half-mast as a mark of respect to those who died on September 11, 2001. Many people observe a moment of silence at 8:46 AM (Eastern Daylight Time). This marks the time that the first plane flew into the World Trade Center. Some communities, particularly in the areas directly affected by the attacks, hold special church services or prayer meetings. People who personally experienced the events in 2001 or lost loved ones in them, may lay flowers or visit memorials
We all remember exactly where we were when we heard the news...and saw the pictures. Those images are not only etched in our minds, they are forever imprinted on our hearts.
On this Patriot Day, we can honor the memories of all those we have lost through simple, meaningful acts...
Observe a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. eastern daylight time.
Join your community in public remembrance by attending a commemorative service or candlelight vigil.
Fly all U.S. flags at half-staff on Patriot Day.
Honor firefighters, police officers and rescue workers in your own community by taking time to thank them for their service
Honor those who died by supporting the troops who are defending freedom today and by supporting all of our military families.
Patriot Day is not, nor will it ever be, a day to celebrate. But it is a day to pay tribute, to honor memories, to remember sacrifices. And it is a day to tell our children—and their children—about real-life heroes.
Please join me in praying for Peace.
If all goes well, I’ll be on my way to campground tomorrow morning after I have the ‘Silver Streak’ serviced and I’ll see you all again with my newsletter come Monday!
The good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Almighty God, from whom all thoughts of truth and peace proceed, kindle in the hearts of all men the true love of peace, and guide with Your pure and peaceable wisdom those who make decisions for the nations of the earth; that in tranquility Your kingdom may go forward, till the earth be filled with the knowledge of Your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

TODAY’S REFLECTION
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
People are supposed to call 911 for emergencies only, but many people don’t understand or follow the rule. I have often wondered if many of our prayers for help sound frivolous to God. It’s impossible to know, but there’s one thing we can be assured of: In our times of need, the Lord not only hears our cries, He is present with us.
God’s help is only a prayer away!
