ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2009
TODAY'S THOUGHT
The roses under my window make no reference to former roses or better ones; they are what they are; they exist with God today. There is no time to them. There is simply the rose; it is perfect in every moment of its existence.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will act with compassion and easily forgive others. If I feel wronged or annoyed, I will release the impulse to judge.
TODAY’S QUOTE
Plenty of people miss their share of happiness. Not because they never found it, but because they didn't stop to enjoy it
William Feather
IT’S TUESDAY !!
BrrrChill !
After having temps in the 80’s last week it does seem chilly here this morning. It was a windy Monday and the wind coming over the lake from Canada is cold compared to what we’ve been used to.
It was low 50’s overnight and we have a high of 60 today. Wind is still promised to us too. So there is a wind chill factored in there too.
Just a little forewarning of what is to come I’m sure.
Work was very busy as usual on a Monday. Today will be a little slower, but there will still be plenty to do. It’s data entry day for me. Computer work all day long. Really there is rarely a time I’m not on the computer. Everything I do is on the computer.
Thank the good Lord I do know how to use one. And thankfully my eyes are still holding up. Although they do not like wet dark mornings for sure.
I had my OJ and vitamins and am still working on the attitude.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Dear God, help us to see our weakness, to center on your voice above the noise of the crowd, and to completely depend on you
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Even if this should seem impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people, shall it in those days be impossible in My eyes also, says the Lord of hosts?
