TODAY'S THOUGHT
Everyone wants to be appreciated.
So if you appreciate someone, don't keep it a secret

Just for today: I will I focus my attention on one activity at a time, letting God's love move through me as I complete the task
TODAY’S QUOTE
In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary

IT’S MONDAY !!
Tomorrow will officially be the first day of fall and it’s beginning to look that way around here too. One thing that isn’t fall like is the temps. We are to have a warm week ahead of us. Rain but warm is what they are saying!
I had a great weekend that went by too fast as always. It’s BACK TO WORK as usual for a Monday morning! Hopefully it won’t be raining as wet dark mornings make it very difficult for me to see where I’m going.
This will be a 4 day work week as I do have Friday off for a vacation day. The only thing on the calendar besides work is a hair cut on Tuesday evening. I find it so hard to believe a month has passed since I had the last one. My hair does look a little shabby though so it’s time.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please join me in prayer with people all over the world in observing the United Nations International Day of Peace. On September 21, (today) I will pause at noon and, in my own way, pray for peace for one minute. May my one minute, magnified a million times, create a culture of peace that will change the future of humanity
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
I have a friend who lives by a three-word philosophy:
Seize the moment.
Just possibly, she may be the wisest woman on this planet. Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.
I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.
How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed?
How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched Jeopardy! on television? I cannot count the times
I called my sister and said, How about going to lunch in a half hour?
She would gasp and stammer, I can't . . .. . . .
I have clothes on the line.. . . .
My hair is dirty.. . . .
I wish I had known yesterday.. . . .
I had a late breakfast.. . . .
It looks like rain.. . . .
And my personal favorite:
It's Monday.
We never did have lunch together.

One More…
THINGS THAT IT TOOK ME 50 YEARS TO LEARN.
Take out the fortune before you eat the cookie.
Never lick a steak knife.
Never under any circumstances take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight savings time.
There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age 11
.If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be meetings.
A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person.
Your friends love you, anyway.
And finally for the young and young at heart…
Q: What do you get if you cross a bear with a skunk?
A: Winnie the Phew!
Q: What did the Arithmetic textbook say to the Reading textbook?
A: Don't tell me your sad stories, I'm the one with the problems!
Q: What is the difference between an elephant and a flea?
A: An elephant can have fleas but a flea can't have elephants!
Q: What did the picture say to the wall?
A: I've been framed!
Q: What did the wall say to the picture?
A: Hi Art
TODAY’S REFLECTION
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety
Psalm 4:8
Psalm 4:4-5 has a three-part recipe for finding peace in a troubled world: When you're angry, don't express it by disobeying God. When you lie down at night, do it in heart-searching silence. Live sacrificially, putting your trust in the Lord
He rests well who rests in Jesus
TODAY’S ADVICE
Pick pears when the fruit has a faint yellow blush but is still green
1 DAY TIL FALL!
Delight yourself in the Lord
and He will give you the desires of your Heart
Psalm 37:4
May there be a miracle in YOUR life today
and may you have the EYES to SEE it!
I Love You All !!!
Be Blessed !!!
