TODAY'S THOUGHT
As every thread of gold is valuable, so is every moment of time
John Mason
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will act on divine wisdom that blesses me in making right decisions. As I examine situations with the wisdom of God within me by prayer and meditation, I will receive fresh, new perspectives.
TODAY’S QUOTE
Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you
Carl Sandburg
IT’S THURSDAY !!
Wednesday was warm and sunny with temps going over 80 degrees!
I sure did enjoy the warmth and today will be another lovely day.
It does feel so great to be warm again.
Today and tomorrow are going to be slow ones at work because just about everything is done for the week.
The leaves are on the trees, the flowers are blooming and the grass is growing. I guess summertime is on the way. In my trivia for the day they keep talking about strawberries but I’ve not seen any on the roadside stands yet. They should be coming soon. Of course the grocery store has them from out of state, but I’d love to have some nice fresh ones.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, I lift my heart to you in praise and thanksgiving. Help me to rejoice in you through all of life’s circumstances, good or bad. May I bless you at all times
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
God Bless You All !

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Be careful! Watch out and don’t forget the things you have seen. Don’t forget them as long as you live, but teach them to your children and grandchildren.
Deuteronomy 4:9
Deuteronomy 4:9 (quoted above) includes a charge to pass on the life lessons we've learned. And the best way to do this is through stories, much as the Bible is filled with stories of God's working in human lives.
As we reflect on our past, we become aware of God's great love. Yes, we see our failures, and we can rejoice in God's forgiveness. But we also see that we live by God's grace and goodness. We are surprised and enriched by God's mercies new every morning. Let us preserve and pass on the stories of God's mercies, especially to our children and grandchildren

As you know ma, I am a silver lining kind of a gal! Happy Hummel Figurine Day! I have always loved Hummels. All I've ever been able to afford was 4 postcards when we were in Germany. They're just lovely.
