TODAY'S THOUGHT
Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong by conflict.
William E. ChanningJUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
JUST FOR TODAY: Learn how to be mindful using all your senses fully in each moment. Mindfulness is a relaxed state of awareness of the present moment. You feel a curiosity and openness to life and others. You let go of judgments. This allows you appreciate what is present in your life now
TODAY’S QUOTE
We can learn much from wise words, little from wisecracks, and less from wise guys
William A. Ward
IT’S MONDAY !!
Here we are with a brand new week in a new month already. I had a restful weekend and am ready to go to work once more.
After a rainy start on Friday evening the weather cleared up and both Saturday and Sunday were beautiful. It wasn’t as warm as it was last weekend but it was still nice.
I put a few pictures up on my journal page, but as none of the babes came out to the campsite they are mostly of the wildflowers blooming around the camper.
It was really quiet but I enjoyed myself. I don’t mind that no one else was there. I needed the rest and I got plenty of it too!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Praise the Lord, all you nations.
Speak to him, all people of the earth,
because his love is great
and he is always faithful.
Psalm 117
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

DEPENDS ON THE HANDS
A basketball in my hands is worth about $19
A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million.
It depends whose hands it's in
A baseball in my hands is worth about $6
A baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth $19 million
It depends whose hands it's in
A tennis racket is useless in my hands
A tennis racket in Pete Sampras' hands is a Wimbledon Championship
It depends whose hands it's in
A rod in my hands will keep away a small, wild animal
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea
It depends whose hands it's in
A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy
A sling shot in David's hands is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it's in
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed thousands
It depends whose hands it's in
Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will produce salvation for the entire world
It depends whose hands it's in
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because...
It depends whose hands it's in.
They are the children God has graciously given your servant.
Genesis 33:51
My hands are small; please don't expect perfection whenever I make a bed, draw a picture or throw a ball. My legs are short; please slow down, so I can keep up with you;
2) My eyes have not seen the world as yours have; please let me explore safely. Don't restrict me unnecessarily.
3) Housework will always be there. I'm only little for a short time—please take time to explain things to me about this wonderful world, and do so willingly.
4) My feelings are tender; please be sensitive to my needs; don't nag me all day long (you wouldn't want to be nagged for your inquisitiveness). Treat me as you would like to be treated.
5) I am a special gift from God; please treasure me as God intended you to do, holding me
accountable for my actions, giving me guidelines to live by, and disciplining me in a loving manner.
6) I need your encouragement to grow. Please go easy on the criticism; remember, you can criticize the things I do without criticizing me.
7) Please give me the freedom to make decisions concerning myself. Permit me to fail, so that I can learn from my mistakes. Then someday I'll be prepared to make the kind of decisions life requires.
8) Please don't do things over for me. Somehow that makes me feel that my efforts didn't quite measure up to your expectations. I know it's hard, but please don't try to compare me with my brother or sister.
9) Please don't be afraid to leave for a weekend together. Kids need vacations from parents, just as parents need vacations from kids. Besides, it's a great way to show us kids that your marriage is very special.
10) Please take me to Sunday school and church regularly, setting a good example for me to follow. I enjoy learning more about God.

SCAM ALERT
Security firm McAfee says that Swine Flu medication spam is already making its way to your inbox, playing the Hollywood name game in its bid to move flu remedies and prescription pills for less. That means you can be on the lookout for e-mails with subjects like "Madonna caught swine flu," or "Swine flu in Hollywood." Domain name registrations mentioning the word 'swine' are also way up, so be wary of hackers looking to exploit the panicked masses through fake Swine Flu info sites
TODAY’S REFLECTION
God has then granted life-giving repentance to the Gentiles too
Acts 11:18
God had granted also to the Gentiles the repentance that leads to life
God has made something completely new – unprecedented. This understanding could not have had human origins. Humans reject the other, the stranger. For humans, it’s “them” and “us”.
But for God it’s just “us” – always “us”.
TODAY’S ADVICE
Add a few tablespoons of vinegar to dishwater to cut grease and leave dishes sparkling
48 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER!
Delight yourself in the Lord
and He will give you the desires of your Heart
Psalm 37:4
May there be a miracle in YOUR life today
and may you have the EYES to SEE it!
I Love You All !!!
Be Blessed !!!
