HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SOUTHERN BELLE TODAY!
May the dear Lord Bless you today and always!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
This is definitely a long distance birthday. This little granddaughter lives almost the furthest away of any of them. I do have two that live farther. Needless to say this is another one celebrated with a card in the mail.
Our summer like fall days are coming to an end here as the temps are to turn cooler with a little rain today. This weekend our part of Ohio celebrates the Woollybear Festival. One of our TV weather men started this years ago and it's grown in size over the years. Woollybears are caterpillars that are orange and black striped. The larger the black stripe is the worse our winter is supposed to be. As today is Woollybear Sunday, I don't know yet what the findings will be but I'll let you know soon..
We'll be hoping that we don't get too much rain here so that everyone can enjoy the festival. I hope you all have a relaxing and restful Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
You don’t even miss a beat when gratitude to God is the beat of your heart.
I have counted at least 3 things I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1013. for our Southern Belle
1014. for festivals and celebrations
1015. for cooler days
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
