ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR MONDAY, MARCH 30TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Take a Walk in the Park Day which is a day visit a local park and walk around instead of going around the block or going to the mall. A park is an open area of space provided for recreational use. It can be in it’s natural or semi natural state , or planted, and is set aside for human enjoyment or for the protection of wildlife or natural habitats .
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
John Muir
As you already know I’ve been walking in our mobile home park for the past several days and hopefully for many more days ahead. For me there is nothing like getting outside in the fresh air. We were cooped in the house all winter so now it’s time to get out for a walk.
Our park does have a play ground that is all roped off right now and no one is allowed to play on it.. In keeping with safe distance regulations, but I thought it might be nice to show some pictures of when some of my grandchildren and children did get to enjoy it. Pictures are from a couple of years ago.
There is nothing like their smiling faces to help cheer me up. Thank goodness for my photo album these days that are filled with many happy memories to carry me through the rough times.
I hope you have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
An early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day.
Henry David Thoreau
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7976. for a park to walk in
7977. for my photo album full of great memories
7978. for my children and their children
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!
ADVICE FOR TODAY

Lynette Mather
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Get out and enjoy a bit of fresh air and sunshine!
I love looking through old photos! Come to think of it, this would be a good time to start separating and organizing a few shoeboxes-full I've got gathering dust in the guest room. Yep, the same ones I've been putting off for when I've plenty of time. LOL.
What fun days your daughter and grandson had at the park! Good you could be part of it and I'm sure you'll be part of many more outings in the days ahead when we are lifted from the present order to stay home. It is good we have pictures that can help us to remember things from before and how much fun life was. It still is good and it will be fun again; we just need to find ways to make it fun during these times!
