ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day which reminds us that everyone spills a little milk now and then. We are encouraged to look beyond such annoyances and move on.
Throughout the world there are move than 6 billion consumers of milk and milk products. Milk is a key contributor to improving nutrition and food security .
India is the worlds’s largest producer and consumer of milk, yet neither exports or imports milk. New Zealand, Australia and the United States are world’s largest exporters of milk and milk products. China and Russia and the largest importers of milk and milk products.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses
Focus on your character, not your reputation.
Focus on your blessings, not your misfortunes.
Roy T. Bennett.
A little spilled milk is truly nothing to get excited about. I have spilled a whole jug of it before, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s nothing to get bothered about. Things happen and there’s no need to keep dwelling on them. Just clean up the mess and move on.
It’s a day for looking on the bright side and keeping a positive attitude even when things might not be going our way. We can’t undo something that has already been done. We don’t need to stress over the little mistakes in our past.
Milk is very good for us and something we should have every day. Some have allergies to it but there are many ways to substitute for it. Luckily I have no allergies and do enjoy a cold glass of milk regularly. Nothing like a big glass of milk with your cookies.
I’ve no milk pictures to share today so I thought I’d share a few more of my Valentine decorations.
I managed to get my emissions test done yesterday, and yay, the little red hen, my car, passed! Then I went on to renew my drivers license and get the new license plate stickers. We’re all set now for another year.
Today I’m going to visit the library where they will hopefully help me get my kindle all set up so I can borrow books to read from the library. I read a lot and I know others who do this so it’s sounds like a good way to go. We’ll see...
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.

I hope you have aTERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions. Once expressed it changes attitude, brightens outlook, and broadens our perspective.
Germany Kent
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7853. for milk, good and good for us
7854. for the bright side of things, it’s always there when we take the time to look for it
7855. for mistakes, they teach us lessons
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!

Mistakes are only opportunities to learn...
Yea that the car work is done for another year!! I do love reading library books on my tablet. I hope you got it figured out, Ma! Haven't spilled milk in a few years, but you are right, its not that hard or time consuming to clean it up :) Don't sweat the small things for sure!
betty
India?! I never would have guessed that.
Cute analogy about spilled milk. How I used to enjoy dunking! Not cookies, but graham crackers. Then, savoring that wonderful cracker residue at the bottom of the glass. Yum!
I downloaded the library app to my cell phone so I could listen to books while walking. It's called "Libby" … perhaps the same as what your public library offers? (If it's free, it's for me. LOL)
We had cows on the farm and my brothers milked them. We made butter with the cream. Good memories.
Apparently an academy award winner ranted about stuff, one of which was stealing milk from cows. I did not think about it in that way.
