ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Apricot Day, which is a word that means precious in Latin. Apricots ripen earlier that most summer fruits making them a precious commodity every Spring.
The apricot tree emerged in China more than 4,000 years ago and eventually made it’s way across Asia to the Mediterranean. Centuries later Spanich explorers introduce the apricot to the New World and planted trees all over the west coast. Today, farmers in California’s San Joaquin Velley produce 95% of the apricots grown in the United State.
Whether you prefer them fresh boiled, grilled ore poached, enjoy an apricot today in honor of the occasion.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation.

My favorite way to eat apricots in apricot jam or jelly. It is good glaze on pork chops and chicken. Apricots are a delicious fruit packed with vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. If you’re used to eating peaches and plums, they can be a great way to change up your routine. It is also thought that apricot is good for skin care they are a good source of iron and copper. If you suffer from anemia, you can add them to your diet to boost your iron levels. Iron s a key part of red blood cell formation, as is copper.
Today was to be my day to go to school with our Cutie Patootie. This is Sunday School and she is in the preschool class. So the pictures I’m showing today are of her.
However she was sledding yesterday and lost control of her sled and ran ito a tree. So today she is home resting.
Please join me in saying a prayer that she’ll soon be right as rain.
I hope you have a RELAXING Sunday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Thankfully there were no broken bones or internal injuries, only a couple of stitches on her nose.
Oh my goodness! What a scare! Of course, I'm lifting prayers for your Cutie Patootie. I hope she won't suffer a black eye?
Sledding is great fun, but of course it can be dangerous. I was but a little older than she when I took out a good portion of my front tooth. Sending cyber {{{HUGS}}} her way!
