Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

It's wonderful to have a Grand friend!
I’m going to my grands school today to work the book fair!, Amber is in charge for the second year and she makes it fun like a party! I’m sure she will make an extra lunch for me.....she is famous for her school lunches!
There is snow in East and even South Texas this morning but it is cold but DRY in the DFW area!
I've always heard the term 'lame duck' but never knew of its origins. Thanks!
Love the term grand-friend, too! What an honor to be both grandma and friend. I hope you had great fun at school.
What a fun day you must have had, Ma! I'm glad schools do things like this! I'm sure the kids and the "grand friends" enjoy being together with the kids showing what they are learning and doing in their classrooms!
