ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Roof Over Your Head Day which is a day to be thankful for what you have and appreciate your home. There are many people out there who don’t have this basic need.
It’s also a perfect day to donate to your local food bank, homeless shelter or any organization that supports getting everyone under a roof.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,
and all your heart might desire.
Irish Blessing
No matter how humble it may be, I am very thankful for my home. It is comfortable and one of my favorite places to be. I truly do have everything I need here. It’s affordable and situated in a nice community. It’s not the smallest house I’ve lived in, but it is the only mobile home I’ve had.
They say that if you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world. If you have money in the bank, your wallet and some spare change you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
I guess you could say, I am very blessed.
More than not, I’ll be focusing on Christmas this week. I still have much to do, so most anything else will have to go by the wayside.
After a warm and sunny day yesterday, our weather has once again turned colder and temps will be in the 30’s this week. I’d say this is pretty normal for December in our neck of the woods.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!

Home is where the heart is.
Bit chilly here in the low 60s for the high. I'm looking forward to Wednesday when it will be 75 degrees. How spoiled I've gotten, LOL. So true about being grateful for a home, no matter how "humble". I know those who are homeless would truly appreciate ny type of roof over their heads.

If we had a nice mobile home community in our area I know I would be in one in a heartbeat!! I wish our area would develop a 55+ age group mobile home community, that's what I wish would happen. Your home looks so cozy and inviting, MA. I love it! And it looks like you have some wonderful pieces on your art table that will keep you busy. Enjoy! Love, Andrea xoxo
Yes, I'm very thankful for the new sturdy roof over our heads. It stung a bit to part with that $$$ but we're blessed to have it. Richer than 75% of the world's population? Wow. There's a dose of perspective, indeed!
Home IS where the heart is for sure Pam! I think you have a lovely cosy home there Pam. I like the wreath you have hanging on your front window. You are right to say, we are very blessed to have what we have when so many in the world have nothing or not very much at all. I give thanks for my blessings every day! I see a project on the go there. I am a tad bit curious? Christmas ornaments? Love and hugs to you and thank you so much for your positivity and all that you share with us. You are a treasure for sure. When I count my blessings I always count you! xoxo
