ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is the Official Lost and Found Day which reminds us not to give up on the things they have lost and increase their efforts to find them. Losing things is a part of life and if what we have lost is not very important most people stop looking for them after trying for a while. In fact lost and found offices all around the world are full of things that people have lost and have forgotten about.
If you are prone to losing things, perhaps today is the day to figure out a way to make sure you don’t loose theme frequently. some ideas include putting a name tag and contact information on your belongings and creating a process to check if you have all your things when you when leaving home.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Nothing is really lost. It’s just where it doesn’t belong.
Suzanne Mueller
I am only human and I too have lost many things, but thankfully most of them have been found. Right now I’ve lost a pair of my best black pants. I wear them often because black seems to go well with everything. I’m thinking they are hidden on a hanger with a blouse or sweater over top. Although I’ve searched for several days, they are still missing. I can’t imagine that I’ve left them someplace. I rarely go any place where I would leave clothes behind. So they must be somewhere in my home. I’m not giving up. I’m going to find them sooner or later.
I’ve even got a drawer in my dresser that is dedicated to lost socks. I keep those socks without a pair, because they often turn up in a pant leg or the arm of a blouse. I’ve often found the match a year later when I switch over my seasonal clothing.
After years of chasing after my keys and my phone, I’ve learned to keep them in one place. It’s been a while since I’ve misplaced either, but that is not to say I will never do it again.
Today is the end of another work week for most and I’m thankful that this week had been such a good one here. Many things done and many good things happened. The pictures today are of just some of the beautiful Christmas lights at DS#5’s house and on the ride home Wednesday evening.
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
We should live each day with a gentleness, a vigor and a keenness of appreciation which are often lost when time stretches before us in the constant panorama of more days and months and years to come.
Hellen Keller
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6610. for lost things found
6611. for hope, which never gives up
6612. for a great week
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
It is not what you have lost, but what you have left that counts.
Harold Russell
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Never give up hope...
11 days!
I no longer own enough pieces of clothing to misplace something … so far, that is! (Let us know where those escapees went to, won't you?) Unfortunately, there are still miscellaneous kitchen items that haven't appeared since the move. That's a great idea about finding a permanent home for my keys and my phone. (Not always successful, but I try keeping my keys on the nightstand, in case I hear 'something' in the night I can press the car's alarm.)
Boy, I know that dilemma of wandering clothes. Look in the sock drawer, There are amazing things to be found there.
Gee, maybe today's the day I'll finally find my lost earring?
My hubby, our daughter and son-in-law and I were shooting pool, and my daughter and I were sitting side-by-side on the step leading from our kitchen to the den, just chatting while we waited to take our turns. I somehow managed to knock an earring from my ear... just a small hoop, but not miniscule... and now, some six months or so later, I STILL haven't found that darned earring. I've vacuumed that area a bazillion times, moved everything, looked all over... and nada. It just disappeared! But... maybe today...
Have a wonderful weekend.
My late Aunt Thelma always used to say to pray to Saint Anthony who is the finder of Lost Things. She always did. I usually say a little prayer to God and normally find what I have lost, most often sooner than later. Only very occasionally do I not find what is missing. Love all that you share Pam! You are such a treat! Love and hugs and happy weekend! xoxo
I have kept my keys in the same place for "years" it seems like and I'm glad that I do because I know the few times I haven't put them immediately away when I'm done with them, that's when I panic and wonder where they are. I hope by now you found the black pants.
