ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Christmas Eve which is the day much of the world anxiously awaits the festivities of Christmas Dayl Many families even celebrate this day as much as Christmas itself.
People will often spend today finishing their holiday shopping, traveling to be with friends and family, and attending parties to await Christmas Day.
There are many ways to spend Christmas Eve and whether you need to send a last minute gift card, bake up a batch of cookies be sure to celebrate with loved ones. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things — not the great occasions — give of the greatest glow of happiness.
Bob Hope
This evening I’ll be going to church for Christmas Eve Services with the ones in my family that are close by. Hopefully I’ll get a few pictures to share. The ones shown today are from last year as different members of the family celebrated Christmas .
I’ve some wrapping to finish up, but other than that I don’t have any other plans. Thankfully, what little shopping I had to do is done.
We’re to be in the mid 30’s today and partly cloudy. The snow has melted, so it won’t be a white Christmas here, but we’ll be keeping merry still.
Silent Night, Holy Night
All is calm, all is bright
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Christmas Eve!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance — each beautiful, unique and too soon gone.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6640. for family
6641. for church services
6642. for gifts to give
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Merry Christmas Eve! I am just about to take my last sip of coffee and hop out of bed and into action!
Let me just say how much I enjoy my morning visits with you! Love seeing your family photos!
Merry Christmas Pam! I hope you have a lovely time at your Christmas Eve service! I have lovely memories of going with my father when I was growing up! Thanks for all that you so lovingly share with us throughout the Year! I hope you have a beautiful Christmas filled with love, family and light! Xoxo
Great pictures from last year, Ma! We're going to Christmas Eve service here tonight at 7 o'clock then having a simple dinner of sandwiches and salad. Might have a bit of rain tomorrow; its in the forecast.

Merry Christmas eve from a beautiful brisk day in Alabama! Since we've nowhere to be until tomorrow, Tom and I drove over to a nearby casino hotel to take in the decorations and enjoy brunch. In a little bit we'll be attending candlelight communion services, then home for my one-a-year glass of eggnog (yummmmmm) and presents-in-PJs.
Thank you for being my friend!
