Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
It's My Party Day is today, a great excuse to have a party for no reason at all! All you need to do is to invite all your friends and family to a fun party! What a great opportunity to have some fun. You can make it simple, or elaborate.
Did you Know? Teen star Lesley Gore sang the #1 pop music song, It's My Party, in May, 1963. At the time, Lesley was just 16.
Life is too short. Today is It's My Party Day. Whatever you do, have fun and enjoy the celebration!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Celebrate the happiness that friends are always giving, make every day a holiday and celebrate just living!
Amanda Bradley
I don’t think we really need a reason to have a party. Just getting together with family and friends makes any time a cause for celebration.
They say that life is like a party. You invite a lot of people, some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, and some show up really late. But in the end, after the fun, there are a few who stay to help you clean up the mess. And most of the time, they aren’t even the ones who made the mess. These people are your true friends in life. They are the only ones who matter.
Life is one big party and you never know when it will end.
Remember: You only have so many big occasions to enjoy in life; why not make each day memorable. Never save any thing for a special occasion, today is reason enough.
All the pumpkin pictures shown today are from last year. Hopefully I’ll have some new ones to share soon!
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Life is the occassion...celebrate every day
WHAT’S NEW IN THE KITCHEN
There is a food holiday to celebrate every day of the year!
Today is National Sausage Pizza Day!
This hearty casserole is a pizza night favorite. Bisquick mix forms the base, and sausage, pizza sauce and cheese top it off to perfection.
Easy Sausage Pizza Bake
8 oz ground sausage
1 medium onion, diced
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1/2teaspoon salt
3 cups Bisquick mix
1 cup water
1, 14 oz. jar pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 13 by 9 inch pan. Cook ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove with slotted spoon onto paper towel to drain. Remove all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings from pan. Add diced onion, and cook until translucent but not browned. Add sliced mushrooms and salt, and cook until mushrooms are softened and onions are caramelized. Remove from heat.
In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and water until soft dough forms. Drop half of the dough by spoonfuls into pan. Dough will not completely cover bottom of pan. Spoon half of the pizza sauce over dough; sprinkle with half of the cheese, and scatter with half of the sausage mixture. Repeat layers with the rest of the dough, sauce, cheese and sausage mixture.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden. Serve immediately.
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.
Oprah Winfrey
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

4304. for pizza, sausage is good
4305. for family and friends to party with
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Such great pumpkin pictures. It is that time of year. I like the description of life as a party. We indeed do not know when it will be over so we need to live each day with gusto.

Loved all the pumpkin pictures. I can't believe it has been that many years since Lesley Gore sang "It's My Party". I used to love the song. I know all the words!! And I love sausage pizza. We need to have a party!! Have a good Tuesday, Ma!
