86 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER
Sunrise: 7:21 am
Sunset: 7:48 pm
Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Purple Day which is a celebration aimed at raising worldwide awareness of epilepsy, a condition that affects over 65 million people globally. Lavender is the international color for epilepsy and is also a color that symbolizes solitude. This led to purple being the color of choice for this celebration.
Please join me in wearing purple today.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I think 'The Color Purple' is so bursting with love, the need for connection, the showing of the need for connection around the globe.
Alice Walker
I support any efforts made for epilepsy awareness as one of my own sweet granddaughters is afflicted with this devastating condition. For some, medication helps to alleviate all symptoms, but for her it lessons the seizures but does not do away with them. Seizures have pretty much been a part of her life since she was 6 month old.
Please join me in praying for all those with Epilepsy and especially for my granddaughter. New advances in treatment are being made every day and we hope for a successful one for her. She is a sweetheart and always blesses me with one of her dazzling smiles. She’s a blessing in our lives and truly loved.
The color of purple is often a symbol of hope and that is what I am - a very hope filled person. On this the last Saturday
before Easter we are once again reminded that nothing will be impossible for God and we are called to wait in faithful hope.
It’s supposed to be a very nice Spring day here with temps reaching 50 degrees! Wishing you all smiles, hugs and lots of purple.
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Faith is a curious thing. It must be renewed; it has its own spring.
Gladys Taber
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3712. for a day to celebrate for my sweet granddaughter
3713. for the color purple, it symbolizes hope
3714 for a beautiful Spring day ahead
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU !

You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought

I didn't know about purple symbolizing epilepsy. I, myself, have been largely unaware of this affliction. It sounds as if your sweet g'daughter is a blessing, indeed.
I'm honored to hold she and those who love her in my prayers!
Happy Easter, Ma!
I love the colour purple Pam! It is one of my favourites! My ex husband was an epileptic. It is a disease that can be well managed these days, thank goodness! I hope you have a lovely Easter Sunday! Thanks so much for all you share with us throughout the year. You bless so many of us with your thoughts and smiles. Love you! xoxo
So true with the advancements they are making in the treatment of epilepsy; I think too it is not a "feared" diagnosis like it was so many years ago but in most cases very treatable and manageable.
