Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Santa's List Day. Have you been good all year? Have you been Naughty? Or, have you been nice? Santa knows.
Santa's Elves have been everywhere, checking up on children all over the world, to see who has been naughty, and who has been nice. Thanks to the hard work of his elves, Santa Claus has two lists. The short list contains the names of a few children who have been naughty. A much longer list is filled with the names of children who have been good all year long.
Santa says that doing extra chores, or something special to help out around the house between now and Christmas, will get you off the Naughty list, and onto the Nice list.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I discovered a cute website called the North Pole Times where you can find out whether you’ve been Naughty or Nice this year. You put your name in and it gives you the answer. When I put my name in here is what it said:
PAM:
Has been nice most of the time. Has been helpful around the house at times. Needs to wash hands more often.
Ha! Around my house if I didn’t help out, there would be no one else to do it. Truthfully, it looks like little has been done here for quite awhile. I’ll be very glad when I can get all the fall stuff packed away and when Christmas decorating is done. About the only thing that is complete now is the front porch. I took advantage of the warmer weather this past Sunday and got out there and put up the wreaths and roping.
It is good to be reminded to wash hands more often too. Tis the season of colds and flu and washing hands frequently seems to be the best way to prevent spreading them.
Looks like a week of moderate temps here for this time of year. Mid 30’s and low 40’s is nothing to complain about for sure !
I hope you all have a great day ! Happy Thursday!
When life seems just a dreary grind; and things seem fated to annoy; say something nice to someone else and watch the world light up with joy.

21 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is short, so set your holiday decor out so that you can enjoy it for as long as possible. It really helps to put you in the Christmas spirit. I’m still working on that here at my house. Hopefully, I’ll be done by the end of the week. I do a little and rest a lot !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
When you're nice to people, they want to be nice back to you.
Jack Canfield
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for 2 years and have now reached over 2000 gifts. On my way now to 3000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2279. I’m thankful for quiet days to get decorating done
2280. for aspirin, it takes the achy away
2281. for cute little websites that make me smile!
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Be nice to those you meet on the way up. They're the same folks you'll meet on the way down.
Walter Winchell
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

How cute with your name on the Santa list, Ma! But great reminder to wash our hands especially in this season where it seems everyone is sick. I think I would be on Santa's good list this year :)
