MERRY CHRISTMAS DAY !
Ah! Christmas, the biggest holiday of the year. Christmas has both a strong religious and traditional meaning. It has a certain feel, all to itself, that you usually do not feel at any other time of the year. It creates within us, a sense of kindness and concern for fellow man. At no other time are we more generous and giving. It creates a sense of family and belonging. It is truly a time that comes but once a year. Celebrate the magic, the wonder and the spirit of this holiday season.
Let there be peace and good will this Christmas.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Christmas Prayer
by Robert Louis Stevenson
Loving Father, Help us remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men. Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clean hearts. May the Christmas morning make us happy to be Thy children, and the Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake, Amen!
This is such a happy day with so much to celebrate and give thanks for . I wish I could be there with each member of my family and see the delight in the faces of all my grandchildren as they open up their gifts. I remember well the excitement at our house on Christmas morning when the babes were small.
Joy to the World ! Christmas is probably the happiest day of the year! Even though I don’t have a tree laden with gifts and young children here anymore, I am celebrating the reason for the season ! Christ was born on Christmas Day. I can just imagine the party going on in heaven and that makes me very happy.
I’ll be remembering all those that might be working today in my prayers as well as those that are sick today, and those that have no reason to celebrate at all. Remember every day may not be a good one but there is something good in every day. As Tiny Tim in Charles Dickens famous story of Scrooge said: God bless Us, Every One!
The pictures today are of our family celebration last year at DS#3’s house.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL ! I just can’t seem to say if enough.
Merry Christmas!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Jesus Himself is the greatest Christmas gift ever given. The mighty One has done great things for me and Holy is His Name!
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2339. for our gifts of love for one another, a reflection of God’s infinitely greater Gift of love to us.
2340. for one day of the year to remind us that we're here for something else besides ourselves.
2341. for the delight of waking up this morning and thinking : Why, this is Christmas Day!
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !

I loved all the pictures you shared from your celebration last year, Ma, but especially the one of you and your daughter! Two beautiful women who deeply love each other!
So true to have a wonderful celebration today, no matter what might be going on, because we are celebrating the best gift of all in Jesus!
Merry Christmas!
