Tic Tac Toe Day
Three in a row 12/13/14
2-13-14 Won't happen again until 3000 for 1-2-3000. This is the final time this century when the date is comprised of three consecutive numbers. The simplest way to celebrate Tic Tac Toe Day? Just share it with a friend. Greet them with the news of the day and they, in turn, can tell another. It's kind of like a secret that you can't help sharing. A little math, a little smile, a little fun, that's Tic Tac Toe!!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
Groucho Marx
Today is a pretty special day when you think about it. I won’t be around by the time the next Tic Tack Toe Day comes around. The way I figure it though, today always is a very special day. It has never happened before and it will never happen again. And we have no idea what will come next. No one can know it.
What a blessing it is just to be here now! The perfect day to let the past rest where it is and let the future take care of itself. As is every day. To experience just this moment, to pay attention to the colors, sounds, smells and sensations. To pay attention to your feelings, to other people’s feelings, and to make this day one of beauty and tenderness.
We need to live to the fullest this day God has granted to us. Be loving and kind to all you meet. Spread cheer and joy on your way
Happy Today ! It is a special day !
Life is a great and wondrous mystery, and the only thing we know that we have for sure is what is right here right now. Don't miss it.

12 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
It's Time To Eat From The Freezer! If you've stockpiled a few freezer meals to use during the holiday season, pencil them into the menu plan during the next two weeks. It’s a busy time for all of us and less time in the kitchen is a plus. After Thanksgiving I had some leftover chicken to put in the freezer. I made a pot pie with one container and some Chicken Fried Rice with the other. I used a new recipe and I think it turned our pretty good.
Chicken Fried Rice
Serves: 5-6
4 cups rice, prepared
½ pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked
1 cup peas & carrots, frozen
1 white onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs
3 tablespoons sesame oil, I used Crisco oil as it was what I had on hand
¼ cup soy sauce, I only used 1 tablespoon and for me it was just right
Prepare rice according to package instructions to yield 4 cups cooked rice.
Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
Add onion, garlic, peas and carrots. Stir fry until tender.
Crack eggs into pan and scramble, mixing throughout vegetables.
Add rice, chicken, and soy sauce to pan. Stir in soy sauce and remove from heat.
COUNTING MY GIFTS
God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say thank you?
William A. Ward
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2306. for today, it is a gift
2307. for numbers that make us think
2308. for quick and easy meals to fix
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Don't look back on happiness, or dream of it in the future. You are only sure of today; do not let yourself be cheated out of it.
Henry Ward Beecher
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

I love that Pam, tic tac toe day! I had not realized! Neat! I love the chicken fried rice recipe too. Looks delicious. Have a super Saturday. I am playing catch up today! I am way behind! xoxo
PS - Is that your grandson? What a cutie pie!
I liked what today is called with tic tac toe day; my niece had it listed as a sequence day, I hadn't realized it until she said something about it on Facebook. Again, another great recipe you shared here Ma; I'm going to print that out and try it soon!
