Whether it is stress at work or stress at home, finding a way to relax which works for you is important for your mental health and wellbeing.

I’m probably the least stressed person I know. Most of my days are peaceful and calm. I have had some stressful days in the past but mostly due to my age, very little can stress me out these days.
Some of the best stress relievers I know of are simple and easy for anyone to do. Just taking a deep breath and letting out slowly relieves a lot of stress. Getting outside and going for a walk is really calming and last but not least count your blessings. When you take the time to think about what you are thankful for each day, you can’t help but be happy.
There are lots of other ways to relieve stress, just make sure you find one that works for you. Stress does affect our health and our ability to function to our fullest ability. Peace of mind is something we all strive for and sometimes when nothing else works, we need to turn our burdens over to the good Lord. God cares and is always with us.
The pictures today are more of Halloween this year. I have so many I’ve had to spread them out a bit.

Prayer Request
DDIL#4 has asked for prayers for her brother and family as her SIL’s dad is in ICU with kidney failure. May the dear Lord bless and comfort them all in their time of need.
50 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to plan that Thanksgiving Day menu. List the types of foods that you would like to include in your Thanksgiving meal: appetizers, main course, side dishes, bread, salads, and most importantly, desserts.

I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for 2 years and have now reached over 2000 gifts. On my way now to 3000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.

Lord, hold our troops in

Praying for the poor lady in ICU... and stress awareness... we ALL need to be aware of it!
Such cute pictures of the different costumes, Ma! I know I can be stressed at times with things going on at work, etc. I need to do some of your suggestions, like taking a deep breath!
