Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Tuesday, November 4th is General Election Day in the United States. The General Election is always the first Tuesday in November.
Our founding fathers had the wisdom to create a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. It is every American's right and privilege, to vote for our government officials. So, we hope you exercise your right on this day, to vote for the candidate of your choice.
I believe that it is it important for us to vote. Please exercise your inalienable right and go out and vote today!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
By voting, we add our voice to the chorus that forms opinions and the basis for actions.
Jens Stoltenberg
I do go out and vote as it is my privilege. I won’t say which way I vote or which political party I favor. But take advantage of the fact that I can vote and encourage all that can, to do so. I’ve seen some that said they’ve already done early voting and I've known some that take part in voting by mail because they can’t make it out.
After a frosty weekend with temps in the 30’s and 40’s, it looks to be a little better this week in that we’ll get up in the 50’s and even 60’s some days. That is more normal for us. If the sun shines some afternoons you’ll be sure to find me out on the patio soaking up some sunshine. I look around for the opportunity to get out there when I can. We won’t have many more days warm enough to do that
I got a glimpse of what looked to be a beautiful full moon last night, but November’s full moon is still a couple of days away they say on November 6th. The Full Moon of November was called the full Beaver Moon, as that was when the traps were laid before the water froze. It was also called the Full Frost Moon.
The pictures today are a few of my grandchildren in their Halloween costumes this year. They do make me smile.
I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
50 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
It's Time To Swap Holiday Decorations. Tuck Halloween decorations into a box, and replace them withThanksgiving themed items to keep holiday decorations looking fresh and timely. Here at my house I have a few Turkeys to get out of the box and will be putting the witches and ghosts away till next year. I’m thankful that I have a nice big orange storage bin to put it all away in.
COUNTING MY GIFTS
I love voting day. I love the sight of my fellow citizens lining up to make their voices heard.
Beth Broderick
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for 2 years and have now reached over 2000 gifts. On my way now to 3000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2189. for the privilege to vote for the candidate and the issues of my choice
2190. for delightfully cute Halloween trick or treaters
2191. for more light in the mornings now that the clocks have changed
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Of two evils, it is always best to vote for the least hypocritical.
Proverb
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Such cute costumes, Ma! Nice to see the parents dressed up too! Going to vote after work today after I walk Koda. I do agree it is a privilege to vote and we need to take advantage of that indeed!
We are heading into some warm days in the days ahead, in the high 80s/low 90os but today was the coolest morning we have had so far at 46 degrees.
