Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
The day after Labor Day is always Another Look Unlimited Day. Planning to throw a load of old junk away? Stop! Another Look Unlimited Day encourages you to take another look through what you’re getting rid of to identify things which could be donated to charity, given to friends, or recycled in another way. Taking another look may help avoid filling landfills prematurely.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I feel very adventurous. There are so many doors to be opened, and I'm not afraid to look behind them.
Elizabeth Taylor
Taking another look around is always a good idea to me. At first glance things can seem differently than they do upon a second look. I have lots of things that need to be donated. The problem being that they sit in my attic and serve no purpose. There are many things that I intend to make use of but never do and they are way too good to throw out in the trash.
Maybe with cooler days ahead, I’ll visit my attic and take another look to see what I can do. But it’s not going to be today it’s way to hot up there.
It feels more like August now than it did on some days in August. Summer is having it’s last fling here for sure.
This Tuesday seems more like a Monday after having our long holiday weekend. The pictures today are from our little Mr. Wonderful’s birthday on Sunday!
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Always look on the bright side of life. Otherwise it'll be too dark to read.
Author Unknown
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for over almost 2 years and have now reached 2000 gifts. On my way now to 3000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2000. for things to donate or reuse
2001. for another day to look at and enjoy
2002. for lingering summer days
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Look up and not down;
Look forward and not back;
Look out and not in;
Lend a Hand.
Edward Everett Hale
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Such cute pictures, Ma! Looks like everyone had lots of fun! I think I'll look around and see if there's anything I can dispose of today. Will put together a bit of a pile to take to Goodwill this week if I can :)

I'm hoping to sort some things out of the house this week while I'm on vacation from work. Happy 😊 Tuesday!! 🙋
I always love it when you show us photos of your grands Pam. They are so sweet! It seems we are always sorting things out in this house. It always feels good to get rid of the things we aren't using. I hope that you have a lovely weekend this weekend. It is supposed to be sunny here! xxoo
