84 DAYS UNTIL WINTER
87 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Ask a Stupid Question Day. It's your opportunity to speak up, and to ask all those questions you were afraid to ask. All those questions that you thought were too stupid or dumb to ask, have been piling up all year long. Today is the day to unload them. C'mon give it a try. Nobody will laugh......we hope.
Remember: there really is no such thing as a stupid question.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A child can ask questions that a wise man cannot answer.
Author Unknown
There are some questions in life that there really are no answers for and sometimes I’m very glad I don’t know all the answers. They might be ones I wouldn’t like to hear anyway. But we won’t know until we ask.
We wouldn’t have many of the things we have like telephones, lights, and TVs, if someone hadn’t ask a question and wondered what the answer would be.
Believe it or not, the kind of questions you ask determine the kind of life you lead. Life is a continuous discovery process. The questions you have today won’t be the same ones that you ask tomorrow. One of the ones I like to ask myself is what am I most grateful for today? The answers are never quite the same. They may be similar to ones that I’ve been thankful for in the past but all in all they make for a wonderful life. It’s as important to ask the right questions as it is to find the right answers.
Another good question to ask ourselves might be: Is there something I'm still holding on to? Is it time to let it go? Things like anger and grudges are always a good thing to let go of. Holding on to them is a waste of time. Life is too short and we need to think about the good things in life.
I recently read a book about a lady who kept a What If? list. She asked questions about things that might happen in her life and then found the answers to the questions. For an example she asked what if an emergency happens. Then she wrote down the numbers for the police and fire department and for her insurance company. When an emergency happened she had the numbers she needed right on hand. Not a bad thing to do at all.
Well, it is Sunday here and it’s my day for rest and relaxation. I always try to make it a day to renew and refresh for the coming week ahead. The pictures today are of one of my seasonal mugs I like to use this time of year. It has a surprise in the bottom of it! Look at the last picture in today’s post to see what it is.
I hope you all have a restful and relaxing Sunday!
It’s 87 days until Christmas:
Before the season begins focus on what the holiday season really means to you and your family. For me it’s a time to enjoy all the aspects of a happy family gathered together. A time to be thankful for all we have and a time to celebrate with those we love. And never forgetting Jesus is the reason for the season.
COUNTING MY GIFTS
In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.
Bertrand Russell
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for almost 2 years and have now reached over 2000 gifts. On my way now to 3000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
To be able to ask a question clearly is two thirds of the way to getting it answered.
John Ruskin
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

What a cute bottom of the cup, Ma! Indeed I know why it is a favorite of yours! I heard once there is no such thing as a stupid question, but its good to have a day where I can ask as many as I want :)
I like that lady with the What If, that's good to think through questions like that and think of solutions before they actually might happen.
Enjoy your restful day!

That cup is precious! I may have to 'copy-cat' your idea of enjoying seasonal mugs. Early mornings are the very best part of the day .... and to start with a smile is just like icing on the cake!
