Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
July 7th. is National Tell the Truth Day. The one day all year when everyone is encouraged to tell the truth. Today, everyone is challenged to go a full 24 hour without being dishonest or telling a lie. So dare yourself to tell the truth, who knows you might like this truth day and continue applying it in your life everyday!
If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.
Mark Twain
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Life is so much simpler when you just tell the truth
I’d like to think that every day is the right day to tell the truth. But sometimes it is very hard to discern exactly what is the truth. The truth is that what you don’t know won’t hurt you.
Remember the old saying : If you can’t say something nice about a person, don’t say anything. Good advice !
I know folks who would rather lie than to tell the truth and generally they would have been far better of telling the truth from the get go!
Because you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember what you said to whom. You won’t accidentally contradict yourself. You earn the reputation as an honest person. People follow your example and are more truthful to you. Your stress level drops. You sleep better, eat better and look better.
You can look at yourself in the mirror. You are more persuasive. To be persuasive, you need to be believable. To be believable, you must be truthful.
Best of all, you are trustworthy. When people can trust you, you earn their support. You need peoples’ support to reach your goals.
The week ahead looks to be a very typical summer weather week for us here in Ohio. We will have some sunshine and some rain, the temps will be in the high 70’s to mid 80’s and the truth is these will be some enjoyable days for me. Not too hot or not to cold…just right!
Another truth to remember: The three grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, someone to love and something to hope for. Be happy today…SMILE
COUNTING MY GIFTS
In the end the truth will come out, the truth will set you free
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for over a year and have now reached over 1800 gifts. On my way to 2000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1829. for truth, it does set us free
1830. for summer and it’s warmth and sunshine
1831. for this day and all of it’s blessings
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Honesty is the best policy
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought

I do like the thought if you tell the truth, then you won't have to contradict yourself and wonder what you might have said to someone else. Always good to tell the truth, no matter if it might be painful to admit something we might have done wrong. Your weather does sound enjoyable!
