91 DAYS UNTIL FALL
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
June 23rd is Let It Go Day, a wonderful occasion for offering forgiveness for offenses and seeking reconciliation with those we love.
Although June is Recycling Month, some things ought not to be recycled. Petty annoyances, personal affronts and other annoyances can simply fester in time. How much healthier might we be, if we simply learned to release irritations and move on. Let it go.
He that cannot forgive others, breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass if he would ever reach heaven; for everyone has need to be forgiven.
George Herbert
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Forgiveness is a funny thing. It warms the heart and cools the sting.
William Arthur Ward
To me letting go and moving on is what my life has been all about. I've had to let go of many things and people in my life and move on. If we want to be happy, we do have to let go of hurts and sorrows. There is no going back only moving forward.
We must never lose sight of those blessings we have in our every day lives because of worrying about what happened yesterday. Today is what is important. Don't hang on to disappointments or worries, live each day, one day at a time, and be thankful for it. Remember: Love itself may be at stake. If we are unable to forgive one another, we will not be able to love.
Today I'm having the 3rd Sunday dinner that was cancelled last week due to Fathers Day. It'll be a hot day here and I'll be having the oven on as well as the air conditioning.
Tonight we'll be seeing the Full Moon of June, the Strawberry Moon. The Algonquin tribes knew this Moon as a time to gather ripening strawberries. It is also known as the Rose Moon and the Hot Moon. Don't forget that somewhere out there you and I are under the same big sky and love will keep us together, some where, out there…
I hope you all have restful and relaxing Sunday!
Count the garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall. Count your life with smiles and not the tears that roll.

COUNTING MY GIFTS
God can heal a broken heart, but He has to have all the pieces.

I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts. I’ll be sharing them and giving thanks to God for these gifts each day.
697. for forgiveness, a way to move forward
698. for time that heals
699. for another day to be thankful
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go.
