TODAY'S THOUGHT

We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will remember that we are all needed, important, and necessary to God and to fellow human beings
TODAY’S QUOTE
One of the greatest gifts you can give to anyone is the gift of attention.
Jim Rohn
IT’S FINALLY FRIDAY !!
AND
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DS#1.
May the dear Lord bless you always!
His birthday is actually this weekend while I’m away and unlike many of my babes’ birthdays, I will be celebrating with him at the campsite. Too often an e-mail or a card is my way of celebrating. This one I get to actually participate in.
After work today I will be off to the campsite for the weekend. I hope you all get your fair share of R & R. I’ll see you all on Monday morning with another newsletter from home. The good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
In our times of disappointment and despair, O God, may we feel your presence and find strength in your word
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

TODAY’S SMILE
Driving along a residential street, I spotted a little girl on the edge of the sidewalk clutching an armful of daisies and dandelions, which she was obviously trying to sell. I stopped and asked how much she charged for her flowers.
Holding out a bunch, she answered, "If it's just for somebody you're giving them to, it's five cents, but if it's for somebody you like it's ten cents, but if it's for somebody you . . ."
At that point, I produced a quarter and said, "I'm sold. What can I buy for this?"Without hesitation, she handed me the whole bunch and accepted the quarter.
But before heading for the candy store, she looked up, smiled and said, It's nice to sell my flowers to someone who is going to give them to somebody he loves
TODAY’S REFLECTION
A merry heart does good, like medicine
Proverbs 17:22
It’s okay to have fun! God has given us His wonderful gift of joy and laughter
It is a gift of God’s goodness that carries us through some of life’s darkest days.
Wholesome laughter has great face value
