TODAY'S THOUGHT
If you search the world for happiness, you may find it in the end, for the world is round and will lead you back to your door
Robert Brault
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
JUST FOR TODAY: I will remember happiness is an inside job. Life is fuller, richer, and more fun when I approach each day from the joy in my heart
TODAY’S QUOTE
Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is
Maxim Gorky
IT’S TUESDAY !!
Thankfully Monday flew by and now that is out of the way for another week.
We had some rain and may get more today they say. It was very spotty. At work it looked dark and ready to rain and we had lots of thunder, but no rain. When I got home everything was wet, so we got it here instead.
When I got home I fixed a good size pot of spaghetti as I’d been craving it for awhile and now I’ll eat all week long. That is what happens when there is only one eating it.
I got my new ‘budget’ gas bill in the mail and found that I’ll be paying just a little less than last year. So that’s a good thing. Considering we had a terribly cold winter I was afraid it would go up not down. I do the budget billing so that I pay the same every month. It all evens out in the end.
Today should be a quiet day at the office. My busiest day is always Monday and then sometimes Wednesday but not often.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

ONE MORE…
We've all been passed by motorists on the road going much faster than we were. But you can imagine my shock at recently being passed by a speeding lady going down the middle of the road's dotted line at a truly breakneck speed (at least 100 mph, on only a two lane road)!
The danger she proposed was high, so you can imagine my relief when I passed her later on down the road parked in front of a car with whirling lights. Their conversation went something like this...
License and Registration please, the officer asked.
It's okay, Officer, I have a special license that allows me to do this, said the lady, smiling.
Yeah, right! he replied, I've never heard of such a license.
The lady reached into her purse and handed him her license.
Just as I suspected, the officer said, this is an ordinary license, and I see nothing here that would allow you special consideration.
But the lady, still smiling, pointed to the bottom of the license.
See? It says so right here: 'Tear Along The Dotted Line.'
TODAY’S REFLECTION
The disciples approached Jesus and said, Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven? He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said,Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me
Matthew 18: 1-5
The disciples want to know who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus places a child in their midst and says whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven,
It has been said that age diminishes our imagination, hopes, and possibilities. The older we get, the more easily we say, "That could never happen." But in a child's mind, God can do anything. A childlike faith filled with wonder and confidence in God unlocks the door to the kingdom of heaven
