IT’S TUESDAY !!

And it is BACK TO SCHOOL for many today. I know some of my grand’babe’s will be having their first day of school and pretty soon all of them will be. I’ve many teachers in my family too and I will be praying for a successful and happy school year for them all.

I remember the days of back to school clothes, shoes, backpacks and jackets.
The school supply lists seemed unending. Going to bed early was a hard thing to do too. All the babes were used to summer hours and we’d practice a week before school started just to get back in the swing of things.

That was many, many years ago and now I just wait for some ‘back to school’ pictures to show up in my e-mail of the grand babes first day of school. It is an exciting time for them.

I did talk to DS#2 the other evening and it was good to hear he is doing well. His job has been changed somewhat and he’ll have some days of travel ahead of him. Before that though, he’ll be enjoying some vacation days so that is a good thing.

My vacation days are dwindling fast. I will have 2 more for September plus the Labor Day holiday, then 2 in October and 1 for November and December. It seems just yesterday summer just started and now it is almost done.

Little Rodney Lee said, I was just kidding, actually, we went to Ohio
