TODAY'S THOUGHT
When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place
C.S. Lewis
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day livesJust for today: I will realize that I am an ambassador of God. Knowing this, I will choose kindness; in my thoughts, acceptance; in my heart, compassion.
TODAY’S QUOTE
When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around

IT’S MONDAY !!
Another fast weekend is over and now we start a new week. This one will be a short work week as I only work 4 days and have Friday off. The weather really warmed up for us and it was quite hot at the campground. I didn’t mow the grass as it was too warm but it will need it for sure by next weekend.
Sunday we made it up past 90 and today looks like it’ll be close to that too. On my calendar for this week is our monthly Dulcimer get together on Tuesday, but other than that nothing special is going on but the usual work day.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Cat Nights Begin
The term Cat Nights harks back to a rather obscure Irish legend concerning witches and the belief that a witch could turn herself into a cat eight times, but on the ninth time, August 17, she couldn't regain her human form. This bit of folklore also led to the idea that a cat has nine lives. Since August is a yowly time for cats, this may have prompted the speculation about witches on the prowl

Cell Phone vs. The Bible
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones. What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?
Does this make you think, Hmmm. where IS my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phones, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!
TODAY’S REFLECTION
I have learned whatever state I am in, to be content
Philippians 4:11
In his book Money: A User’s Manual, Bob Russell describes a farmer who once grew discontent with his farm. He griped about the lake on his property always needing to be stocked and managed…And those fat cows lumbered through his pasture. All the fencing and feeding—what a headache! He called a Realtor and made plans to list the farm. A few days later the agent phoned, wanting approval for the advertisement she intended to place in the local paper. She read the ad to the farmer. It described a lovely farm in an ideal location—quiet and peaceful, contoured with rolling hills, carpeted with soft meadows, nourished by a fresh lake, and blessed with well-bred livestock.
The farmer said, Read that ad to me again.
After hearing it a second time, he decided,I’ve changed my mind. I’m not going to sell…I’ve already got just what I’ve been looking for.
