TODAY'S THOUGHT
Money flows through your life and touches every aspect. Although you have only so much control of how it flows into your life, how money flows out from your life, just like how you spend your time, reflects your values and what you hold precious

JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Only for Today
1. Only for today, I will seek to live the livelong day positively without wishing to solve the problems of my life all at once.
2. Only for today, I will take the greatest care of my appearance: I will dress modestly; I will not raise my voice; I will be courteous in my behavior; I will not criticize anyone; I will not claim to improve or to discipline anyone except myself.
3. Only for today, I will be happy in the certainty that I was created to be happy, not only in the other world but also in this one.
4. Only for today, I will adapt to circumstances, without requiring all circumstances to be adapted to my own wishes.
5. Only for today, I will devote ten minutes of my time to some good reading, remembering that just as food is necessary to the life of the body, so good reading is necessary to the life of the soul.
6. Only for today, I will do one good deed and not tell anyone about it.
7. Only for today, I will do at least one thing I do not like doing; and if my feelings are hurt, I will make sure no one notices.
8. Only for today, I will make a plan for myself: I may not follow it to the letter, but I will make it. And I will be on guard against two evils: hastiness and indecision.
9. Only for today, I will firmly believe, despite appearances, that the good Providence of God cares for me as no one else who exists in this world.
10. Only for today, I will have no fears. In particular, I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful and to believe in goodness. Indeed, for twelve hours I can certainly do what might cause me consternation were I to believe I had to do it all my life.
Pope John XXII
TODAY’S QUOTE
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy

IT’S WEDNESDAY !!
OVER THE HUMP DAY!
When I arrived home yesterday evening I heard by the way of DDIL#1 that DS#5 and his wife did not have a good trip down to the state fair. They are just fine, but their camper did not make it. Thankfully DS#1 and his wife live reasonably close by and they were able to go there. I am just SO VERY thankful everyone is ok and hope that the rest of their days at the fair are less eventful and more successful.
DS#6 had also called the other evening with a bit of GOOD news to let me know that the official due date for grand’babe’ #13 is March 1st. Of course that can go one way or the other by a few weeks so we’ll see… One way or the other the gloomy days of winter are going to be offset by the coming of grand’babes’ #12 and #13 for sure.
We’ve had promises of rain for a couple of days now and so far have received barely a sprinkling. The temps did get up to 85 yesterday and it really feels like July finally.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, we open our hearts to you.
We stop to listen and learn from you
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
Which Hue are You?
The British Royal Automobile Club came up with a list of what a car's color says about its owner. Here is what your vehicle is telling people about you:
Black: You're ambitious and status-seeking.
Green: You're very traditional and an elitist.
Blue: You're a team player and very sociable.
White: You're aloof, dutiful and methodical.
Gray: You're understated and cautious.
Silver: You have a sense of style, but you can be pompous.
Red: You're outgoing, impulsive and easily bored.
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others
1 Timothy 6:17-18
Thrift is in vogue. Frugal is fashionable.
Perhaps the silver lining of the global recession is that people are coming to realize they can live with less and their lives are richer for it. People seem to be valuing objects less, but experiences and people more. We can only hope and pray it is so – and that such an attitude survives recovery
