TODAY'S THOUGHT
Count no day lost in which you waited your turn, took only your share, and sought advantage over no one

JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will say it as if it were true: "I am a miracle of life." Next I repeat it with boldness and clarity, knowing it is true: "I AM A MIRACLE OF LIFE!" How good this feels. How true this is, for everyone God created is a miracle of life. Each child of God has never before existed and will never again be duplicated

You should not confuse your career with your life

IT’S WEDNESDAY !!
And
It’s JULY 1ST!
The month of June flew right by and here we are in what I think of the mid point of summer. It’s been raining and cool here and it seems tomorrow will bring more of the same.
We go over the HUMP of the week and get ready to slide into the weekend today. It’ll be a nice 3 day one for me. I’ve got to get my things packed up and ready for camping tonight. After work tomorrow I will just head on out to the campground.
As always I’ll be praying for safe travels for everybody. Holidays always bring more traffic so be careful out there!
Take good care !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me (Ps. 51:10). Help us to forgive those who we feel have hurt us and to let go of bitterness
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
God Bless You All!

July’s Dog Days commence on July 3. They are named for the Dog Star, Sirius, in the constellation Canis Major. Sirius starts shining brightly at this time of year, and it rises in the east at about the same time as the Sun. The ancient Egyptians thought that the star was responsible for the heat and blamed it for any droughts, sickness, and discomfort that occurred. The Dog Days traditionally start on July 3 and end on August 11, which may or may not be when the hot, humid weather ends

TODAY’S SMILE
THE ART OF GETTING ALONG
Sooner or later, wise people discover that life is a mixture of good days and bad, victory and defeat, give and take.
They learn that it doesn't pay to be a sensitive soul - that they should let some things go over their heads like water off a duck's back.
They learn that whoever loses his/her temper usually loses.
They learn that all persons have burnt toast for breakfast now and then, and that they shouldn't take the other individuals grouch too seriously.
They learn that the quickest way to become unpopular is to carry tales and gossip about others.
They learn that most people are human and that it doesn't do any harm to smile and say "good morning" even if it is raining.
They learn that it doesn't matter so much who gets the credit so long as the business shows a profit.
They come to realize that the business could run along perfectly without them.
They learn that no one person ever got to first base alone and it is only through cooperative effort that we move on to better things.
They learn that their co-workers are not any harder to get along with in one place than another, and that GETTING ALONG depends about 98% on themselves.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way. And behold, they cried out, "What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
Matthew 8: 28-29
Do you ever feel driven by forces beyond your strength? Mark’s and Luke’s gospel accounts describe this force as a legion (Mark 5:9 and Luke 8:30). A legion is no small force – but an army 6,000 strong! For the people of Palestine, hemmed in by occupied forces, a legion, whether spiritual or human, struck terror! Our age has also witnessed untold crimes and mass destruction at the hands of possessed rulers and their armies
God's word reminds us that no destructive force can keep anyone from the peace and safety which God offers to those who seek his help. Jesus is ready and willing to free us from anything that binds us and that keeps us from the love of God.
