TODAY'S THOUGHT
The right word spoken at the right time sometimes achieves miracles
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will treat others with reverence and caring just as I would my own family. And I will treat myself in the same caring way. We need to recognize and treat one another as the beloved creations of God that we are
TODAY’S QUOTE
He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much

IT’S FINALLY FRIDAY !!
Wow! I have been anticipating this day all week!!! It is finally the last day of work for me this week and after work I can head to the camper. The boss is off today so I won’t get a lunch hour but I will be leaving at the regular time. He said I didn’t need to stay the extra hour. I didn’t get a lunch hour yesterday either, but he let me go home an hour early to make up for it. I guess he’s trying to keep the overtime pay down.
We are celebrating
Christmas in July tomorrow and I am taking a ham for ham Kabobs and a pineapple upside down cake for dessert. I’ll take lots of pictures if we don’t get rained out.
The weather doesn’t look real promising for us at all but very often the rain goes on the hill over from us and not on us so we’ll be hoping that is the case tomorrow, other wise our celebration won’t be much fun for sure. One way or the other I do plan on getting some rest as I badly need it.
I hope your weekend is a restful one too!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, help me to guard the word you have planted in my heart that no doubt or temptation may keep me from believing and obeying you.
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !

TODAY’S SMILE
An absent-minded professor was on board a train and he was unable to find his ticket.
The conductor said, Take it easy. You'll find it.
When the conductor returned, the professor still couldn't find the ticket.
The conductor said, I'm sure you bought a ticket.
Forget about it.
You're very kind, the professor said,
but I must find it, otherwise I won't know where to get off
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Hear then the parable of the sower. When any one hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in his heart; this is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the delight in riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the word and understands it; he indeed bears fruit, and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty
Matthew 13: 18-23
God is ever ready to speak to each of us and to give us understanding of his word. This parable of Jesus is a warning to those who hear and who preach the word of God. What makes us ineffective and unresponsive to God's word? Preoccupation with other things can distract us from what is truly important and worthwhile. And letting our hearts and minds be consumed with material things can easily weigh us down and draw us away from the treasure that lasts for eternity. God's word can only take root in a receptive heart which is docile and ready to hear what God has to say.
TODAY’S ADVICE
If a colony of yellow jackets sets up housekeeping in your lawn, watch them from a distance to find their underground doorway. At night, when they're not active, place a large glass casserole dish or salad bowl over the hole and weight it down with a brick. The wasps will be forced to exit elsewhere and usually won't return
60 DAYS TIL FALL!
Delight yourself in the Lord
and He will give you the desires of your Heart
Psalm 37:4
May there be a miracle in YOUR life today
and may you have the EYES to SEE it!
I Love You All !!!
Be Blessed !!!
