ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Today is International Kissing Day which is a special day to appreciate and enjoy a kiss. So go ahead and pucker up and give out a big smooch to the ones you love ! There are all kinds of kisses for all sorts of reasons. A kiss may be used to express sentiments of love, affection, respect, greetings, friendship and good luck. People are not the only ones to kiss either, there many animals that share a kiss too.
If you haven’t shown people close to you just how much you love them, today is a chance to remind them with a kiss.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Love’s sweetest language is a kiss.
I don’t think a kiss ever goes out of style and I still give hugs and kisses whenever I can. Even if all I get back is a peck on the check, I’ll take what I can get. Of course most of the kisses I get these days are from family and friends.
Hershey Kisses are a favorite of most of the grandchildren so I always keep some on hand. The candy dish is rarely empty. And I thought it a good day to share a Kiss recipe with you all.
Putting a hershey kiss and a warm gooey marshmallow on top a graham cracker cookie makes for a wonderful summertime treat.
Graham Cracker Cookie Dough
2 cups flour
1 1/2 c. finely crushed Graham Cracker crumbs, plus 1 1/2 cups broken crackers
1/2 teasp .baking powder
1/2 teasp. baking soda
1/2 teasp. salt.
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1 teasp. vanila
Whisk together four, cracker crumbs, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl
In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Then gradually add flour mixture until combined . Fold in broken graham cracker pieces.
You only need 1/2 batch of cookie dough
24 large marshmallows cut in half
48 Hershey kisses
Scoop 1/2 tablespoon cookie dough in to cups of mini muffin pans. Use your thumb to create an indentation in the center of each Bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove pans from oven and place 1/2 marshmallow, cut side down, in to indentation of each and return to oven until marshmallows are slightly puffed, about 2 minutes.
Remove pans from oven . While marshmallows are still warm, press a Hershey kiss into center of each. Let cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday!

ADVICE FOR TODAY
In trying to get our own way, we should remember that kisses are sweeter than whine.
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought
