Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Enjoy some kind of healthy poultry today, it is good and good for you !
Both Tom and I enjoy chicken pretty often, but that wasn't always the case. Like your grandmother, I once witnessed her killing and plucking a bird for Sunday dinner -- and was so traumatized. Then, my freshman year of college at a 'welcome' buffet for incoming students, the chicken wasn't fully cooked. Yikes!
I hope you're enjoying your company and all the activities!
I always try to eat chicken instead of beef too. I think it is healthier for you. Your grandma did not waste a thing - even the feathers! My MIL used to go to the store and pick out her chickens and they would slaughter them right then and there.
