Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and remembers to turn your unnecessary lights off for one hour as a symbol of your support!
I remember 'celebrating' (er, observing) Earth Hour at The Legacy -- trying to get our guests on board. One year, our grounds crew dimmed much of the outdoor lights at the pool -- a tricky exercise to ensure safety.
I hope you're enjoying a good book; I stopped at our library yesterday morning and checked out 3 new-to-me.
When our kids were still living at home, I ran around turning off lights and picking up empty glasses. It really irritated them, but they have to do the same things in their own houses. I still do that.
Okay I had never ever heard of Eart Hour. I am late reading this, so I missed the time, but I think it was a good idea - at least for a while.
