Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate trees today, we could live without the oxygen they provide!
I do miss the tall trees that used to (to me) stand like benevolent sentinels. Unfortunately, the next door land owners had them all razed last year; all we were indebted to was a 100' red cedar. Given the wind storms, it could well have come crashing down into our home. I'm not a gambling sort, so I suppose its for the best.
Like you, I try and use less paper whenever possible.
I do miss the trees. We had two I particularly loved that had to be a couple of hundred years old. I think they saw the Civil War. I cried when they took them down.
