Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Recycling ensuresthat these natural resources will be around for future generations to use.
We, too, aren't afforded separate recycling bins, but try to do our part -- returning plastic bags, etc. I found the 'new' Dasani water bottles enormously annoying, then read they're actually made from recycled plants! I love visiting thrift stores; in fact, 90% of my wardrobe was 'previously loved.'
Strange isn't it. You sound OLD SCHOOL. Our families were recycling before it was cool. I remember jar was only discarded if it was broken. All paper bags from the grocery store were we folded for later use. Parts of shoes was used before any were discarded. I had to have the tongues of every leather shoe for my sling shots.
I did enjoy the read. I am not as faithful as I should be with our recycle container.
Love from down here, Always good to visit with you!

We bring our plastic bags from the grocery stores to church, and they take them to a place that knits or weaves them into mats for our homeless population, interesting - right?
I love to recycle and am thankful to be able to give and buy things to reuse and keep out of the landfill. I’m thankful to be able to start planning and buying for Thanksgiving dinner! Happy day to all. xo, V.
