ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!!

Today is National Condy Day which honors the sweet confections that have been around for thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians preserved nuts and fruits in honey and the Aztecs and Mayans consumed chocolate during religious rituals as early as 300 AD.
Today there are thousands of different types of candy, all with their own unique history. For example Tootsie Rolls were created by Leo Hirshfield of New York in 1896. He named them after his daughter who was nicknamed Tootsie. The average American eats twenty five pounds of candy each year. That may seem like a lot but the average person in Denmark eats 36 pounds each year.
Whether you like chocolate, caramels, hard candy or marzipan, treat yurself to something delicious to celebrate today!
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side

Great menu! Enjoy your stroganoff tonight :)
That stroganoff is one of Tom's favorite meals. Me, I'm anxious to see your slow cooker French Dip. Guess it's obvious, I love to eat!
We have lots of Halloween candy leftover LOL. I have to limit how much I eat :) Looking forward to next week's menu recipes; some sound so yummy!
