ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, NOVMBER 1ST, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is End of Daylight Savings Time Day, which is when the clockcs fall back an hour to standard time which will mean brighter mornings and darker evenings. for most Americans. Mexico and most of Europe will end DST one week earlier. Most of North America shifts at 2:00 local time
Typically, clocks advanced one hour in the Spring and adjusted backward in Autumn. The modern idea of Daylight savings time was implemented during the first World War. Many countries hav used it since then.
The practice has been both praised and criticized. Adding daylight in evenings benefits retailing , sports and the activities but can also cause problems for evening entertainment and other occupations tied to the sun.
Although an early goal of DST was to reduce evening usage of incandsescenst lighting , formerly a primary use of electricity, modern heating and cooling usage patterns differ greatly, and research about how DST currently effects energy use is limited or contradictory
It also presents other challenges. They complicate time keeping and can disrupt travel, meetings and sleep patterns.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
How did it get so late so soon?
Dr.Seuss
i hope you all remembered to fall back one hour before you went to bed last night. I didn’t get all the clocks reset but did most of them so that I woke up at the right time this morning.
It’ll take me awhile to get around to all of them, just as it takes me while two get used to the time change. You wouldn’t think one hour could make such a difference but it dose.
We had a great time with DS # 5 ;and family last evening when celebrated Halloween. DD and her family were also there. There was plenty of good food and good company. And that is what the pictures are of today.
Today is another usual quiet Sunday here for me. I won’’t make it out to church as I’m feeling just a little tired and it’s cold out so all I want to do is stay in and keep warm.
They say we’ll have a sunnier week ahead than last one, I’m thankful for that because all I’ve wanted to do is sleep.. My winter hibernation time is setting in.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!

Se had around 85 trick or treaters. It as lots of fun and everyone wore masks and kept a safe distance..
Love the photos and so glad you had a good time. The time change always messes me up so much. I hope it warms up a bit for you this week. Happy November!
Looks like everyone had a super time last evening. Halloween's all about kids -- the way it should be. All the same, you sure look cute over there in your red hoodie. :)
As long as I'm not out there trying to drive, the time change doesn't bother me so much. Because we're so near the dividing line (Central/Eastern time zones) it does grow dark much earlier. Stay safe and warm!
