ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Election day in the United States ;which is a date set by law for the general elections o public offials. It occurs on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. For federal offices, President, Vice President, and United States Congress, election day occurs only in even numbered years.
Presidential elections are held every four years,in years divisible by four, in which President and Vice President are chosen according to the method determined by each state. Election to the U.S. House of Representatives serve two year terms and are up for election every two years.while Senator’s serve six year terms, staggered so that one third of Senators are elected in any given general election.
To celebrate today, don’t forget to vote.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Elections belong to the people. It’s their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then will just have to sit on their blisters.
Abraham Lincoln
I’m not very political but do think it’s important to vote. Every vote counts and makes a difference. When DDH was living I used to think my vote didn’t matter because his vote cancelled mine out. We never voted for the same person, but now I know it matters.
We’re to have a mostly sunny day here for the election so we can’t use the weather as an excuse not to get out. It’s been awhile since we’ve see the sun so I’ll have to wear my sunglasses so it doesn’t blind me, but I have more than one pair so it shouldn’t be a problem.
On the menu for today is another quick and easy dinner ;
Mini Pizzas
Serves 4
Sausage and Pepper:
!/4 cup tomato sauce
2 English muffins, split
Cooked chicken or turkey sausage, spliced Pepproni, or 1/4 cup roastsed peppers
1 cup shedded mozzarella cheese
Red pepper flakes
fresh basil leaves
Divide the sause among the 4 muffin halves, then top with cheese, sausage, and peppers; season with the pepper flakes.
Place on baking sheet for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the bottoms of the muffins are slightly crisp.
You can also make them using ham, pineapple and jalapeños for Hawaiian style.Or whatever toppings you prefer.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The vote is precious. It is the most powerful non violent tool we have in a democratic society, we must use it.
John Lewis
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Voting is an honor and privelidge!
I am normally so apolitical, but you can bet I got my vote in!
We were pleasantly surprised to get in and out of our polling location in 15 minutes! Love the idea of mini pizzas ... this way each of us can create what they prefer.
